Pokémon GO First Event Updates: “Halloween Season”, 0.43.3 Android 1.13.3 iOS



Finally, after few months of running the most influence mobile game of the year, Pokémon GO, Niantic Labs is going to approach the trainers for the first special event ever created, the Halloween Season. The event will start from October 26th to November 1st and here is what we will have in during the event.

Earn Double Amount of Candy

Yes! On this Halloween season, all trainers can farm all Pokémon’s candies with double the price. Trainers will earn double the amount of Candy every time they catch, hatch and transfer Pokémon. Every Pokémon trainers catch they will be awarded six Candies. The Professor will give trainers two Candies instead of one for every Pokémon you transfer to him. Plus, you’ll get twice the Candy you’d normally get when you hatch Eggs.


Fast Earning Candy for Buddy Pokémon

On this Halloween season, trainer’s Buddy Pokémon also will help the trainer earns Candy four times faster than usual. So, enjoy walking around the exciting places during this Halloween season.


Encounter More Spooky Pokémon

Don’t get shocked if you encounter more Spooky Pokémon than the normal Pokémon you used to encounter. In this special event, you will be more encounter Spooky Pokémon. Here is the list of Spooky Pokémon you will be encounter more – Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Drowzee, Hypno. Zubat and Golbat.

Not to mention, Pokémon GO is updated to version 0.43.3 for Android and 1.13.3 for iOS devices. Some minor text has been improved such as sign out button on the loading page and Here are  the latest updates what you will have in Pokémon GO!


Pokémon GO Plus Got Better

Trainers who are using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory can now select one of multiple notification modes on the Pokémon GO app. Scanning for both PokéStops or Pokémon simultaneously still remains the default setting if you want to try to catch as many Pokémon and collect as many Poké Balls as possible. However, you can also individually enable or disable each of these notifications based on your preference. Low battery indicator also added into Pokémon GO Plus accessory.

Let says, when you are out using Pokémon GO Plus accessory, you can choose to not receive notifications, and just record the distance of your walks. The Pokémon GO Plus accessory will remain paired with the Pokémon GO app if you choose to use the app while interacting with Pokémon or Gyms.


New Patterns on Eggs

Professor Willow discovered that Eggs have different patterns depending on the distance required to hatch them. So, the usual pattern will be 2km eggs, orange for 5km eggs and purple for 10km eggs.

This is one of the latest updates for version 0.43.3 for Android and 1.13.3 for iOS device. The Pokémon type icon is now added on the information of your Pokémon. The Pokémon type icon is added on your Pokémon type and Moveset. For example, Venusaur here is a Grass / Poison type Pokémon and it has two Grass type moveset, Vine Whip and Solar Beam.
