On the previous post I wrote about the latest update of Pokémon Go – Pokémon Go Latest Update 0.35.0 – Pokémon Appraisal. Besides added the new feature, seems like the new patch also adjusted something on the Pokémon Go Gym Battle & Training.
Unlike before this, your Pokémon would like to be injured (if defeated) after training on the Teammate’s gym leaving your Pokémon 1HP left. Same situation when you put your Pokémon in the Gym and got defeated by other players. In the latest updates of 0.35.0, all of your Pokémon will be fainted even after training and defeated in the Gym.
Wait what? I have been tossing a lot of Revive item before this!
Since the new update is out, Revive becomes one of the most crucial item among all. If before this you love to toss Revive when your item bag is full, now you may considering toss other items like potions.
However, there is a way to save your Revive item if you about to run out the item.
Tips to Save Revive Item
This technique can be apply during battling a rival gym or even training. When battling a rival gym, considering switching your Pokémon when your Pokémon is about to faint/lose.
When training your Pokémon in Teammate gym, considering running away/giving up on the training when your Pokémon is about to faint/lose.
Do I get experience by giving up? Yes, just like the previous update, you will get experience when you defeating a Pokémon when training. That’s mean you must first defeat the first Pokémon on Teammate gym then giving up on the second Pokémon if you are about to lose the battle.
You can even get more experience by using the lower CP of Pokémon than the first Pokémon in the Teammate gym. Thus, faster to increase the gym point.
Be safe when playing Pokémon Go and have fun!
